I was a lead user experience specialist for NBNCo working on a crucial portal implementation to be used throughout Australia. The portal service I designed is responsible for connecting tens of millions of Australian homes to Fibre Internet and Multicast Television. I was tasked with creating a usable interface that solved a number of complex problems for NBNCo while enhancing the user experience of the application.
Working in an agile project methodology I was responsible for creating process flows, user journeys, wireframes and prototypes, test plans, contextual enquiry documents and training materials. I was also responsible for ensuring that technical implementation and delivery was pixel perfect and that my team of developers not only learned to value User Experience, but found that their hard work was made easier and more impressive because of it.
This was a very exciting project with gigantic consequences for Australia. The project will ultimately impact every Australian internet user.
